License and renewal

Each license is assigned to one named user. You may install and use DocInsight on multiple machines, as long as you are the only person using the license.

Subscriptions renew manually by default. During an active subscription, you receive updates and priority support, plus a perpetual fallback license for versions released during your subscription term.

Volume Discounts

Volume discounts are applied automatically at checkout for two or more users. They apply to both new subscriptions and yearly renewals.

FAQ

Can I continue using DocInsight after my subscription expires?

Yes. Your purchase includes a perpetual fallback license.

You can continue using any DocInsight version released during your active subscription term indefinitely after the subscription expires. After expiration, you will no longer receive new versions, updates, or support unless you renew or reactivate your subscription.

What happens if my subscription expires?

You can continue using your perpetual fallback version, but you will no longer receive new updates or support.

You can renew within 6 months at the standard renewal price. Renewals during this grace period continue from the original expiration date.

After 6 months, you can reactivate at the applicable reactivation price. Reactivation starts a new term from the purchase date.

Can I install DocInsight on multiple machines?

Yes. A DocInsight license is a named-user license. You may install and use DocInsight on multiple machines, such as your work laptop and home desktop, as long as you are the only person using the license.

Do you offer discounts for students or academic institutions?

Yes. We offer educational discounts for students and academic institutions. Please contact us with a valid academic email address or institutional information.

What payment methods are supported?

Payments are processed securely through FastSpring. Credit and debit cards are supported, and additional payment methods such as PayPal, bank transfer, wire transfer, or localized payment methods may be available depending on your region, currency, and order type.

What happened to the Personal and Commercial licenses?

We have simplified DocInsight to a single subscription plan for new purchases.

Existing Personal and Commercial subscriptions are still honored. Existing customers may continue renewing those legacy subscriptions at their respective renewal rates.
